Timberlife ULTRACARE GOLD

UltraCare Gold is a penetrating, water-repellent, high-sheen wood finish specially formulated to protect outdoor timber against harsh South African climatic conditions.

It blends high-quality drying oils, resins and water-repellent waxes with high-performance UV absorbers and light stabilisers, dissolved in a formulated solvent carrier that penetrates deeply to nourish and stabilise the wood – giving exceptional protection against water uptake and UV degradation. It dries to a clear sheen that enhances the natural colour and beauty of the wood. UltraCare Gold also contains insecticidal and fungicidal additives for added protection against wood borer and termite attack as well as mould growth and fungal discolouration.

Ideal for: wooden window and door frames, doors, balustrades and similar joinery where a high-sheen finish is preferred. Not recommended for high-traffic surfaces such as decks and floors.

Colour: Clear, or tint to shades of brown (Mahogany, Oregon, Teak, Oak, Dark Oak, Golden Brown and Walnut) with Timberlife Solv-Tints. Can also be used as a clear finish over “Stain” penetrating wood colouring stains.

Application: Not for use over previously coated timber – remove old coatings first. Mix before use. Apply a liberal first coat and allow 4–6 hours to dry, sand lightly, apply a second coat evenly, then allow 24 hours before a final coat. Wipe off excess after each coat.

Coverage: 5–10 m² per litre per coat, depending on timber type.
