Timberlife TUFF DECK TOP COAT

TuffDeck® “Topcoat” is a high-build, water-borne (solvent-free) wood sealer that is virtually odourless and non-flammable – a more user- and eco-friendly alternative to traditional solvent-based sealers.

Quick drying with outstanding wet adhesion, it cures to a durable, clear gloss finish with good scratch and abrasion resistance. It forms a tough but flexible coating with very good weathering resistance and low water absorption, giving exceptional protection to timber exposed to moisture and UV – especially outdoors. A matt finish is also available.

Ideal for: wooden decks, walkways, garden furniture, doors and window frames outdoors, as well as interior timbers such as floors, stairs, furniture and cupboards where a high-build finish is required.

Colour: Clear or selected shades of brown; can also be tinted with Timberlife Aqua-Tints water-borne stain additives.

Application: Strip to bare wood; do not apply over other coatings. Mix well before use. For outdoor timber, first apply TuffDeck® “Primer” (or dilute the first Topcoat coat 2:1 with water), allow to dry, sand lightly and denib, then apply 3–4 further light-to-medium undiluted coats. Touch-dry in about 30 minutes; full cure in 3–5 days.

Coverage: approximately 10–20 m² per litre per coat.
Available pack sizes: 1ℓ, 5ℓ and 25ℓ. Clean equipment with water immediately after use.
