Timberlife SATINWOOD BASE 28 MAHOGANY (Premix)

Satinwood 28 Base – Mahogany (Premix) is a penetrating, solvent-based exterior wood finish, factory pre-tinted to a rich mahogany shade, containing water-repellent oil and wax components that nourish and protect timber against the elements.

It also contains a fungicide to guard against mould and fungal discolouration and an insecticide for surface protection against wood borer and termite attack. It enhances the natural beauty of the wood and dries to a satin-like, translucent finish that does not flake or peel. Satinwood 28 Base is specially suited to hardwoods of low porosity.

Ideal for: wooden decks, doors, window frames, cladding, log homes and outdoor furniture.

Colour: Pre-mixed Mahogany, coloured with Timberlife Solv-Tints (transparent iron-oxide pigments) that give long-lasting, UV-resistant colour without hiding the natural wood grain.

Application: Not for use over previously coated timber – remove old coatings and sand first. Mix before use. Apply by brush, spray or dip; apply a second coat 24 hours after the first and a third if needed, wiping off any excess. Ready to use.

Coverage: 5–10 m² per litre per coat, depending on timber type.
Available pack sizes: 1ℓ, 5ℓ and 25ℓ. Flammable – keep away from open flames.
